Studio

My studio is in Omsk. Here I paint, draw and work on sculpture, from the first sketches to the finished piece.

I begin with drawing: finding a composition, refining details and trying different approaches. Then I move to canvas, paper or three-dimensional form. I return to sketches along the way when something needs changing or checking.

Several pieces develop alongside one another here: I may be working on colour in one, refining a line in another, or shaping a sculpture. These photographs show my everyday work in the studio.
