About the work

A broad arc encloses a central profile and two chains of rounded forms. Tiny figures stand at its ends, and a short crossbar with two hanging links meets the axis below. Farther down, eight separate faces form two uneven rows. The central head’s long nose, spirals on the right and round links on the left establish three directions within a compact group.

A clear interval separates the upper structure from the heads below. An arrow leads downward, but each face retains its own expression through mouth angle, eye size and outline. The thin line never becomes a heavy mass. Balance therefore depends on spacing and curvature, with the tiny figures at either end affecting the entire arc.
