Face with Arrows

About the work

A geometric face consists of intersecting horizontals, elongated loops and vertical lines ending in arrows. Small eyes sit beneath an arc, with a triangular form and rectangular details below. A tall rounded contour rises on the right, containing a circular sign and supporting a little house. Another house stands on the upper horizontal; a separate round head enters at the bottom edge.

The black line maintains an almost even thickness, making direction and spacing the main distinctions. Arrows lead upwards and rightwards, while smooth side loops slow that movement. Empty interiors connect the figure to its ground. Simple architectural signs establish scale while disrupting familiar facial proportions.
