About the work
Fine rays extend from a large oval ring, threaded with small circles and spirals. Elongated triangular forms with crosswise hatching and scattered dots occupy the intervals. Inside the central outline sits another circle with short projections and small signs. Rounded endings alternate with sharp wedges, giving movement from the middle towards the edges different speeds.
The radial arrangement remains irregular: intervals vary, chains curve, and the central oval departs noticeably from a perfect circle. These variations soften the structure's geometric rigour. Empty passages between the rays matter as much as filled ones, allowing each sequence of rings to remain distinct. The eye can travel outwards along one chain, then return to the dense inner circle and choose another direction.
