About the work

An elongated face is built from mismatched curves. Eyes and projecting contours gather at the top, while a low black bar indicates the mouth. Between these anchors, the line repeatedly changes direction.

The image combines features of a profile with a more frontal face. One reading gives way to another as the eye moves. This displacement makes the drawing mobile: recognisable features persist without a single stable outline.
