Constellation of Love

About the work

Dark and golden circles are arranged across an elongated blue field. Above, lines gather into a complex orbit; below, separate discs are divided by larger intervals. The blue deepens towards the lower edge, increasing the sense of depth.

The composition is built around distances between forms. Differences of scale, colour and density encourage the eye to connect separate elements. The idea of a constellation arises from these relationships rather than a literal depiction of the night sky.
