Diptych

About the work

Two panels share a green palette and radiating yellow and red marks. A pale vertical interval separates the canvases. Related movements on either side allow the panels to read as connected parts of a larger field.

The gap becomes an active compositional element. It interrupts the painted marks while preserving their visual continuation. The diptych can therefore be seen both as one image and as an encounter between two distinct surfaces.
