About the work

Circles and small discs emerge among layers of ochre, white and green. Set on different axes, they partially overlap. The eye moves from one arc to another, following the intricate rhythm of the surface.

The title suggests a connection between these displacements and the fragmentary nature of recollection. The painting also has a clear formal logic: dense passages alternate with openings, and repeated circular forms bring varied marks into a single composition.
